This is a toolkit from Action Against Hunger's International Gender Unit compiling key internal and external resources for integrating a gender-transformative approach into both programming and institutional practice, supporting the network's commitment under its Gender Equality Policy and Strategic Plan to move from gender-sensitive to gender-transformative by 2025. It is organized into three sections — gender-transformative approaches in programs (methodologies, program-cycle tools, and sector-specific guidance for nutrition and health, food security and livelihoods, and WASH), gender transformation at the institutional level (HR, safety and security, communications, budgeting, partnerships, feminist leadership), and training opportunities. It emphasizes intersectionality and addressing the root causes of inequality.
