How to use this portal
You can explore content in three ways: by theme (collection), by stakeholder pathway, or through keyword search. The idea is to let different types of users - whether investors, financial service providers, researchers or support organisations - find material that is relevant to their work without having to wade through everything else.
At the top of the page you will see ‘Library’ and ‘Collections’. Within ‘Library’ you can search among the full library, either via keyword search or by choosing a filter – for example, case study, or by publisher or stakeholder pathway. Note: filters are additive: selecting multiple filters will narrow results to those that match all selected criteria.
Within the ‘Collections’ tab you and explore by any of the 11 current themes. Collections are thematic groupings for GLI resources. Collections make it easy to find targeted insights on priority topics.
On the homepage you can also search by any of five ‘Stakeholder Pathway’s. They are:- Ecosystem Enablers and Infrastructure Organisations
- Technical Assistance Providers and Capacity Builders
- Capital Providers
- Financial and Enterprise Service Providers
- Researchers and Knowledge Institutions
The resources on this portal have all be tagged based on by and for whom they were developed. So if you are a fund manager, for example, you may wish to explore resources for ‘Capital Providers’.
Finally, if you wish to submit a resource to the portal you can do so via ‘Submit a Resource’. Here you can provide a title, summary description, publisher details and URL link. This will be verified by the portal team and then uploaded to the portal.
