Action Against Hunger

Action Against Hunger (known internationally as Action contre la Faim, or ACF) is a global humanitarian organisation dedicated to ending hunger and malnutrition. Founded in France in 1979, it works in more than 50 countries, delivering emergency assistance and long-term programmes across nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health, and mental health and psychosocial support. The organisation responds to humanitarian crises caused by conflict, climate change, disease outbreaks and natural disasters, while also working with governments, communities and partners to strengthen resilience and address the underlying causes of hunger.
