UN Women
UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. Established in 2010, it works with governments, civil society, the private sector and other partners to advance women’s rights, promote equal participation in economic and political life, end violence against women and girls, and support the implementation of international commitments such as the Sustainable Development Goals. UN Women also produces influential research, policy guidance and practical tools to help organisations integrate gender equality into their work.
