GIZ

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is Germany’s primary international development agency, implementing projects on behalf of the German Federal Government, the European Union and other public and private-sector partners. Working in more than 120 countries, GIZ provides technical cooperation, policy advice and capacity-building across areas including sustainable economic development, climate change, governance, education, health, digitalisation and financial inclusion. Rather than providing large-scale financing directly, GIZ focuses on strengthening institutions, developing local capacity, supporting policy reform and fostering partnerships that enable long-term, locally owned development outcomes.
