This case study examines a program implemented by Sanergy, a social venture in Kenya, from April 2021 to 2022. The program focused on providing gender-smart technical assistance (TA) to train 184 female-led existing and new agrovets (agricultural input suppliers) to empower women and increase their participation in the distribution of agricultural products, specifically Sanergy's organic fertilizer, Evergrow. The training program included sessions on how
Evergrow benefited soil and crops, how to develop leads and connections, and education and resources shared with female smallholder farmers who often are not the household decision-makers.
