This tool is part of a series of three tools developed by MIT D-Lab and Intellecap following a co-design sprint organized to address common challenges faced by impact investors aiming to be more gender-inclusive. Through five virtual sessions, the co-design sprint convened more than 100 gender lens practitioners, entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders from around the world to support six investors to design solutions to make their investment practices more gender-inclusive. This tool helps fund managers understand the deal sourcing experience from the female entrepreneurs’ point of view. It can be used together with entrepreneurs to identify their pain points, unmet needs, and to uncover opportunities to solve these challenges through the sourcing process.
