This 2X Global toolkit helps investors, fund managers and other stakeholders apply a gender-smart lens to their climate finance qualified investments by explaining how to identify and prioritise gender-smart climate finance investment risks and opportunities throughout the investment cycle, as well as in existing portfolios. It presents the business case for gender-smart climate finance and covers the investment process, impact measurement, thematic guidance (e.g. green jobs, climate adaptation), and sectoral guidance (e.g. agriculture, WASH). In addition to a glossary of key terms, the toolkit includes case studies and additional resources. The toolkit can also be used to engage in discussions with investees.
