Developing an index for measuring gender lens investing in organizations: the GLIMETRICS framework

This article, by Palomo-Vadillo, Ortega-Larrea, Bordonado-Bermejo, and De-Pablos-Heredero, introduces and validates the GLIMETRICS framework, a measurement tool designed to assess gender lens investing (GLI) practices within organizations. Drawing on a comprehensive literature review and a Delphi study with expert evaluators, the research develops and validates a set of metrics capturing multiple dimensions of GLI implementation. The framework responds to growing demand from investment funds and companies for robust, comparable instruments to assess and benchmark GLI practices, and aims to support more systematic evaluation, learning, and integration of diverse perspectives on gender lens investing.
