Business and Social Outcomes of Gender-Smart Technical Assistance Activities in Small and Medium Enterprises

This research by G-SEARCh consortium measured the effectiveness of seven types of gendersmart technical assistance (TA) activities provided to 21 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across four sectors and three regions. This research aims to measure the business and social outcomes of such strategies and share findings and insights to encourage dialogue and TA investment and uptake by investors and funders. The study found that TA activities can contribute to positive business and social outcomes for companies and their stakeholders such as employees, customers, distributors, and producers.
